Thank you Aunt Margaret for our cool Hot Chocolate mugs!! We love them and we had to have some the night we got them. Kayla is enjoying her snowman sippy cup, too.

Christmas Tree Celebration

We have all been sick with a terrible cold. When Kayla is sick she has asthma so we have been giving her nebulizer treatments. This past Thursday she started to go down hill quick with her breathing so instead of waiting to see the doctor at 8 o'clock Joe took Kayla to the ER. The result was that she had 80 breaths per minute when it is normal to have between 20 to 30. Her heart rate was also elevated. She had a double ear infection and a high temperature. (She is such an easy and happy baby that she does not give us any signs.) After another breathing treatment her breaths were down to 60 but it was still too high so Joe stayed with Kayla overnight at the hos ital. It was really scary however by the morning she was breathing 40 breaths per minute which was a lot better and she came home. We are watching her closely and she is on some medications. To celebrate Kayla coming home from the hospital we put up our Christmas tree on Friday! We are counting our many blessings!

We watch Sarah while Garmi and Papa spent some time at the hospital. The two toddlers had fun together - coloring, singing, eating, and being silly.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We actually had our first Thanksgiving at our house which was not planned but was very relaxing. Alexis had her baby girl on Wednesday. Madeleine Therese weighed 8lbs. 7oz. and 21 inches long. We are all so excited to finally meet her. She was 17 days late. This year we celebrate with the Silveira's, so Garmi and Papa had Sarah and they also brought the turkey and other fixings. We eat early and all took long naps (well Joe didn't he did yard work outside).

Halloween 2008

On Halloween we went to Hooksett to trick or treat with Sarah. Auntie and Uncle Matt live in a great neighborhood. They had a ton of kids trick or treating, haunted houses, and people handing out fill size candy bars. They girls had a great time!

Gramma and Grandpa came for trick-or-treat day in Manchester. We had a great time.
